WiNET Cloud: your stove connected, with no subscription
A free cloud service for convenient, reliable remote control of your pellet stove.
What is WiNET Cloud?
WiNET Cloud connects the WiNET module installed on your stove with the WiNET+ app over the Internet, even when your phone is on another network. It provides the communication link for sending commands and checking available stove information, depending on the features supported by the stove electronics.
Why cloud infrastructure matters
A central cloud service makes remote connections simpler and easier to manage. Under normal conditions, there is no need to open router ports, purchase a static public IP address or configure dynamic DNS. You can access your stove while away from home, provided the necessary connections are available.
Central management also facilitates maintenance of the communication service. Remote availability nevertheless depends on your home router, Internet connection and cloud service; no Internet-based service can promise uninterrupted access at all times.
WiNET Cloud is free: no recurring subscription
The cloud service for normal WiNET remote control is included at no additional subscription charge. There are no mandatory monthly or annual cloud fees. The WiNET hardware and your home Internet access are separate costs; optional additional assistance services are separate from the cloud.
Why must I register my WiNET device?
Cloud registration links the WiNET module to your personal account. It allows the service to identify your device correctly, distinguish it from other connected devices and provide normal remote access through the WiNET+ app.
When you change phones or reinstall the app, you can normally sign back into your account to see your associated devices. Cloud registration is different from registering a purchase in the customer area for warranty purposes.
How to register WiNET
Connect the module to a compatible stove, open WiNET+, create a free account or sign in, connect the module to your home WiFi, follow the app instructions to associate the device, and check that it is online. Exact steps may vary by app and module version.
What happens when Internet access is down?
If your Internet or cloud connection is unavailable, remote control may temporarily stop working. The stove retains its original local controls and manufacturer safety systems. WiNET does not replace the stove electronics.
