WiNet installation

How to connect WiNet to the stove

WiNet connects to the stove communication port or, when no external port is available, directly to the electronic board. Always check compatibility and connector type before working on the stove.

DB9

DB9 serial port

This is the classic serial port found on many compatible pellet stoves. With the correct cable, connection is normally straightforward.

4-pin serial connector

Some stoves use a 4-pin serial connector, including certain Extraflame ranges. Do not use unverified adapters.

When there is no external serial port

On some stoves the intended connection is internal, on the electronic control board. The exact point depends on the electronics family and manufacturer.

Safety: always disconnect the stove from mains power before opening panels or accessing the electronic board. If you are not qualified, use a technician.
